INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS
The students will complete various training courses that will give them a grounding for possible careers in Accounting, Taxation or Consulting. In all cases, the prerequisite is a diploma or degree, with the emphasis on women and disabled people. The next intake of students will commence on June and more than half of them will be women.
"Each course is carefully structured with the knowledge that students have a degree or diploma, but require on-site experience and life skills as well." The programme is funded by Excellence @ Work, and the students each receive a monthly allowance for accommodation and living expenses.
Every year we give matriculants the opportunity to apply for the Growing Excellence Programme. This entails gaining a 24-month internship contract with the company, within the Business Science disciplines. We conduct a needs analysis within the company to determine potential placement areas for interns. Applicants are assessed and short-listed based on their potential within the company environment. Applicants from the short list are then interviewed. The final selection of applicants will then take place.
